A full 100% of survey respondents describe Greenway Revenue Services as “a true business partner with above average quality of guidance,” KLAS reports.

TAMPA, Florida, Dec. 15, 2017 — Greenway Health, a leading health information technology and services provider, today announced its revenue cycle management solution earned the top KLAS rating for Ambulatory Revenue Cycle Management Services among small clinics in the 2017 Ambulatory Revenue Cycle Management Services report.

The KLAS report draws directly from interviews with physicians and practice staff who use the service.

Greenway Revenue Services earned top marks in the small-market category — 11 physicians or fewer — in each of four scoring categories: general, implementation and training, sales and contracting, and service and support.

Greenway Health’s rating, 86.5, bested the next-nearest health IT vendors by three to five points, overall. The solution fits practices of all sizes, including enterprise and multisite practices with many providers.

Greenway Revenue Services received the highest satisfaction in managing denials and rejections — a process that is “still a chink in most RCM vendors’ armor,” the KLAS report said.

“Denials and rejections are Greenway’s biggest strength,” said a practice manager quoted by KLAS in the report. “They have taken such a load off us because they are proactive in contacting insurance companies to resolve any claims issues. I don’t know of many vendors that provide that level of service… It frees us up to be more efficient and to focus on other aspects of our practice.”

Greenway Revenue Services also earned the highest marks for transparency into billing and financial operations.

More practices are adopting revenue cycle management services as a strategy to thrive in value-based care. For Greenway Health CEO Scott Zimmerman, Greenway’s partnership with physicians goes way beyond revenue services.

“We believe it’s our responsibility to prepare practices for the future, and today that means making sure providers are optimally capturing, managing, and collecting revenue for their services. Greenway’s goal remains to design and offer solutions and services that truly delight, inspire practice transformation, and get physicians and staff back to why they fell in love with medicine in the first place.”

The recent KLAS rating is a milestone in Greenway’s long-term commitment to equip physicians and their staffs with the tools and insights they need to expand possibilities in care in a changing health environment.

Many providers consider ratings by KLAS Research — an impartial healthcare IT data and insights company — helpful in deciding which solutions will best fit their needs. Since 2004, Greenway has earned 12 Best in KLAS awards*.

In today’s published KLAS report, Greenway customers emphasized how they regard the company’s dedicated staff as trusted team members, saying Greenway’s staff seeks opportunities to improve operations and maximize revenue. A full 100% of respondents described Greenway Revenue Services as “a true business partner — stronger partnerships, more proactive — with above average quality of guidance.”

“Our teams build personal relationships with our customers to understand their processes and challenges so that they can better optimize workflows and advise those customers on best practices,” said Rob Ware, Greenway Health VP of Greenway Revenue Services. “They treat our customers’ money as if it’s their own.”

Customers also said that they appreciate the quality of the reports that Greenway sends.

“Greenway spent a lot of time understanding what we do,” said Marie Anderson, Practice Manager at Otolaryngology Physicians of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. “Our experience with Greenway has been 100% positive. They’ve helped us do a complete 180-degree turnaround in our billing department.”

Greenway Revenue Services processes more than 10 million claims a year, resulting in more than $750 million in payments. The teams handle 30,000 patient calls per month in support of customers.

Greenway Health had a record number of its revenue service customers — 65% of them — earn recognition for excelling at their part in the collaboration process to improve their revenue cycle management.

“It’s a really nice collaboration,” said Jennifer Rioux, nurse practitioner and chief administrative officer at New Era Medicine. “I love working with Greenway because I know I can pay my staff, buy equipment we need, and always have that cashflow coming in.”

New Era Medicine, in Manchester, New Hampshire, is located at what is considered ground zero for the opioid crisis in the United States. New Era Medicine providers say using Greenway Revenue Services allows them to focus more on serving their community and worry less about their practice’s financial health.

“Earning this rating is a testament not only to the deep care and expertise of our revenue service teams,” Zimmerman said, “but also to our amazing customers who partner with us every day to provide the feedback and insights needed to make Greenway Revenue Services a leader in the industry.”
